Visa Note
You will need to provide a passport photo, your stay details, sponsor information, your itinerary and your current employment status, in addition to other requirements that the authority has asked for.
Types and Cost
Tourist e-visa: Australians, Americans, Canadians and UK citizens: Single-entry, less than three months visa: US$60
Business e-visa: Australians, Americans, Canadians and UK citizens: Single-entry: US$100
Validity
Single-entry/double-entry visas: six months from the date of issue for stays of up to three months; multiple-entry visas: one, two or three years.
Transit
Transit visas are required by all nationals in the chart above and are valid for 72 hours; travellers must hold confirmed onward tickets.
Application to
The Government of Pakistan has stopped issuing manual visas. Visa applicants in Australia, Canada, the UK and the United States of America can apply for a visa for Pakistan online (https://visa.nadra.gov.pk/) or on arrival.
Working days
Applications for e-visas need to be submitted 48-72 hours prior to travelling.
Extension of stay
It is usually possible for tourists to extend their stay. Contact the Regional Passport Office in Islamabad.
Entry with children
Children need their own passports. Immigration authorities will demand documentary evidence of parental responsibility, especially if the child is of Pakistani origin, before permitting the child to leave the country.
