Driving directions:

From Varadero, take Autopista Sur westwards and merge onto Puente Bascular, which runs along the coast. At Carbonera, turn left along the airport access road: Juan Gualberto Gómez Airport is about 5km (3 miles) south of the motorway. The total drive time from Varadero is approximately 40 minutes.

From Matanzas, take the Puente Bascular eastwards to Carbonera then turn right onto the southbound airport access road. The drive time from Matanzas is approximately 20 minutes.

Public transport road:

Bus: A regular bus service operates between Varadero Juan Gualberto Gómez Airport and Varadero town. The journey time is around 40 minutes and a one-day fare costs CUC$5. Most resorts and larger hotels provide shuttle services.
