Bradley International Airport is situated near exit 40 from the Interstate 91 north-south connector road.
From central Hartford take the Interstate 84 eastwards and connect to Interstate 91, heading north, to the airport exit (journey time: 20 minutes).
From central Springfield, Massachusetts, take State Street westwards towards the river and connect to Interstate 91, heading south towards the airport (journey time: 20 minutes).
Transfer between terminals:
Terminal A is within walking distance to Terminal B.

Public Transport
Public transport road:
Bus: Connecticut Transit (tel: +1 860 525 9181; www.cttransit.com) run buses between downtown Hartford and Bradley International Airport, including the express Bradley Flyer (journey time to Hartford: 30 minutes; fare: US$1.50). Buses depart from the roadway outside the Arrivals building.
Shuttle: Valley Transporter (tel: +1 413 253 1350; www.valleytransporter.com) offers a door-to-door shuttle service to numerous destinations, running hourly from the terminal until 2330 – ticket desks are located in the baggage reclaim area. The fare from the airport to Hartford/Springfield is roughly US$50. Thomas Transportation (tel: +1 603 352 5550; www.thomastransportation.com) also operates a scheduled shuttle service from the airport.
Taxi: A taxi service (tel: +1 860 627 3128) is available from ground transportation counters outside Terminal A. Taxis can be called from airport phones or hailed from the kerb outside baggage reclaim. The fare to Hartford is around US$45, and the journey takes 20 to 30 minutes.

There are numerous restaurants, snack bars, fast-food outlets and cafés at Bradley International Airport. These include a small food court that houses a full-service restaurant, a pizza outlet and a Martini bar.
Shopping:
There is a newsagent before the security screening area of Terminal A, and a small choice of similar outlets and gift shops in the departures area.
Luggage:
Lost and found property within the airport is handled by the State Police (tel: +1 860 292 7400), who can assist passengers wishing to report or claim a lost item. For items left at the security check points, call TSA (tel: +1 860 804 4109).

Bradley International Airport is accessible to physically disabled passengers, with lifts and ramps in and around the terminal building. Wheelchair-accessible toilets are omnipresent and family toilets are also available There are reserved spaces for disabled travellers in the long- and short-term car parks. 'Skycap' luggage assistance is available on the upper level of the terminal.

A 3,500-space multistorey car park offering short- and long-term parking is located directly in front of Terminal A. Four long-term car parks (car parks 1, 3, 4, and 5) are served by courtesy shuttle buses, 24 hours a day.
